Thrust bearing structural features

Thrust bearings are composed of shaft washers, seat washers, rolling elements and cage components. The rolling elements are cylindrical rollers or balls, which can only carry axial load.

Thrust ball bearings are composed of shaft rings, bottom rings, balls and cage components. This type of bearing is a separable bearing, meaning that the ball and cage assemblies and washers can be installed separately.

Thrust cylindrical roller bearings consist of thrust cylindrical roller and cage components, bottom rings and shaft rings. The bearing has a small axial cross-sectional height, high load-bearing capacity, high stiffness and can withstand axial force in one direction.
