Product FAQ

Bearing load

1. Overall quenching: Overall quenching is a common bearing heat treatment process, and most materials use high-carbon chromium bearing steel. It is heated to about 850°C in a heat treatment furnace, and the carbides formed by spheroidizing annealing are moderately and uniformly solid-solubilized in the matrix. After quenching and cooling, low-temperature tempering is performed. Through undissolved carbides and tempered carbides, a uniform precipitation structure is obtained, which can be used in bearings requiring wear resistance.

2. Carburizing and quenching: Carburizing and quenching is a heat treatment in which low carbon alloy steel is kept warm at about 940°C in a heat treatment furnace, the carburizing gas in the furnace is managed, carbon penetrates and diffuses from the surface to the inside, and quenching is performed. Due to the carbon Concentration gradient, surface hardening after quenching, because the internal hardness is lower than the surface hardness, it is used for bearings requiring impact resistance.

3. High-frequency quenching: High-frequency quenching is a heat treatment using induction heating. It is mainly used for medium carbon steel and is used in bearings for automobile wheels with complex shapes. It only hardens the necessary parts.
