Bearing installation and adjustment

The performance of machine tools depends to a large extent on the accuracy and dynamic performance of the spindle assembly, which is directly related to the installation and adjustment of the spindle bearings.

Rolling bearings used in machine tools are precision components and are particularly sensitive to inappropriate operations during installation and adjustment. If the installation method is improper, it may damage the bearing and destroy the accuracy of the bearing. If the adjustment is not appropriate, poor accuracy, low stiffness, temperature rise, loud noise or poor vibration resistance will also occur. Therefore, the installation and adjustment of precision bearings must have a strict set of operating procedures, and appropriate installation and adjustment tools must be prepared.
