Structure and types of HONB rolling bearings

The structure of rolling bearings generally consists of four parts

Outer ring - installed in the machine body or bearing seat, generally fixed.

Inner ring - mounted on the shaft, tightly fitting with the shaft and rotating with the shaft.

Rolling elements - installed in the raceway between the inner and outer rings, including balls, rollers, roller cones and other types.

Cage - used to evenly separate the rolling elements to prevent friction and collision between the rolling elements.

Radial bearings - mainly bear radial loads, commonly used radial bearings such as deep l-groove ball bearings.

Thrust bearings - only bear axial load, commonly used thrust bearings such as thrust l ball bearings.

Radial thrust bearings - bear both axial and radial loads, commonly used such as tapered roller bearings.
